Walk the Lake’s proposed ADA-accessible scenic walking trail surrounding Eston Wilson Lake will enhance the Abington Area Community Park as a destination for environmental education, recreation and fitness for visitors of all physical abilities. Currently, only the able-bodied have access to the water’s edge of the lake, and there is no defined path to encourage full lake access.

Senior Citizens and those with physical disabilities are not able to take full advantage of opportunities the lake and wooded areas provide. The project will create this much-needed pathway as an integral component of the current Park Master Plan to serve all residents and visitors to the community, regardless of their level of physical ability. Groundbreaking will be this spring! Donate online now! We ask for your support, which is vital to the project’s success!
