The Turf Field at Hillside Park is ready for action, as substantial completion of construction has been met. That means that teams and residents can begin to use the synthetic surface field.
A field reservation system is being phased in during a 'soft-opening' timeframe and a link to TURF FIELD is found on the left side of this Home Page. Click HERE to read the provisional Policy for Turf Field Reservation and access.
Clarks Green Borough has been instrumental in securing hundreds of thousands of dollars in park improvements, by partnering with the AAJRB as the technical applicant for 3 different state grants.
In addition local youth soccer, football and cheerleading organizations have donated more than $300,000 toward the lighted turf field and handicpped access project.
While the project centerpiece is the lighted field, significant improvements to interior pathways and parking have created all-accessible pathways and access as part of the project. Now park visitors can travel on paved walkways from the Boundless Playground and Rest Rooms to the Turf Field, the Handicapped Fishing Docks, Pavilion and Lakeside Boardwalk.
