The AAJRB consists of representatives appointed from five member municipalities: Clarks Green, Clarks Summit, Glenburn, South Abington and Waverly.

   The Board members volunteer to manage the Abington Area Community Park and execute its Master Plan, which has outlined a vision of improvements for the Park for people of all ages and all abilities to enjoy.  These members work with community volunteers who give their time, donations, and talent. This total team generated the significant touch points of progress which is seen with growth in the Park’s infrastructure, recreation, and programming. Some additions are the: Community Garden, Earth Camp, Youth Golf Academy, Boundless Playground, Handicapped accessible Bathroom Facility, Nature Trails, Dog Park, Pavilion, Grand Staircase, Handicapped Accessible Fishing Docks, Fishing Derby, & the Community Classroom.   We look forward to marking new developments in the near future.
