Exciting Opportunity for Fun Summer Adventures in an Outdoor Setting -                           for children entering 5^th -7^th grades in Sept. ’09.

This is recreation, education, and exploration with memory-rich programming like: fishing, canoeing, 4-H, digital photography, sketching in field journals, hiking, drama performances, scanning the heavens through a telescope, rocketry, and much more!

We will offer day field trips too. One trip is already scheduled to be held at Birchwood Tennis and Fitness Club. The use of the facility and tennis lessons are donated by Birchwood Club.

Everhart Museum will host a camp day as well! Again, we have the Abington Community Library working with us to build laughter and learning for these campers. Keystone College students will share their skills to create nature art in an ‘Outdoor Studio’.

The campers will have experiential learning as we lay down the groundwork for life-long learning about the natural world. There will be opportunity for personal growth, collaboration, and to develop strong bonds of friendship after a few weeks of immersion in shared activities.
